Our client is a medium sized business firm which caters services of selling all premier brands computer hardware over online with customers spread across Australia. Auscomp works in a business model where it procures hardware from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and India at a price, involves various distributors to deliver respective customer orders or choice of hardware made over online. Auscomp manages all of its business transactions over an ERP called XYZ with a cost involved for a couple of licenses for data storage and process.
BUSINESS CONTEXT
Auscomp in effort to control the cost of the licenses involved with the ERP over each transaction, the company displays an updated product catalogue over its website detailing the hardware specifications, brand, price etc; which makes the customer purchase easy, fast and cost effective to record the order transaction manually into ERP.CHALLENGES
- Over a period of time managing both systems website and ERP separately made things tough and tedious with the processes involving pre and post order transactions.

- To substantiate and smooth the processes THRESHOLD suggested a web solution built around with open standard technologies which can talk to both the systems and to its processes.
- Our suggested application play a role of talking to both the systems where the functionality includes forward, furnishes and collects the order form details from the customers and send to the ERP, where the ERP is feed manually(as per company policy) about the transactions and thus smoothens the processes.
